The “Code and Create” initiative launches today, Sunday, in Al-Ahsa, aiming to train 100 male and female students in collaboration with Numou Education Center. The initiative is hosted at Al-Anjal Private Schools, with participation from students of Takammul Center for the Care and Development of Orphans, affiliated with Al-Birr Society in Al-Ahsa.

The initiative arrived in Al-Ahsa after being implemented over the past weeks in Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran, and Qatif, where 250 children aged 8–11 were trained in the fundamentals of programming using Scratch and the Swi Swi controller.

Mr. Ashraf Al-Hamad, CEO of Numou Education Center, explained that Code and Create is one of the center’s initiatives, supported by Al-Turki Holding Company. In its second edition, the initiative has expanded to multiple centers and geographical regions as part of a plan to reach the largest possible number of children across the Kingdom and empower them with digital skills through an engaging and interactive approach.

Al-Hamad stated:
“At Numou, we are keen to design educational experiences that nurture curiosity and exploration among children. The Code and Create initiative represents a practical model of how technology can be an enjoyable gateway to developing cognitive and logical skills from an early age.”

Code and Create is considered one of the initiatives that reflects Numou Education Center’s commitment to delivering modern educational experiences that develop essential 21st-century skills.
